Biography
Prof. Mu is a Professor of Mathematics at Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Mu received Ph.D in 1987. Before joining HKUST, he was with Department of Computer Science, Purdue University from 1987 to 1993. He was elected the membership of IFIP/WG2.5 in Numerical Software in 1997. Mu's current research interests are in the areas of heterogeneous network computing, distributed and parallel computing, numerical PDE, numerical analysis, numerical software, scientific simulation, and data science.Research Interests
