Congratulations to Zhibo JIN, Van Hoang NGUYEN and Dinh Toan KHUC for winning the Jane Street Best-in-University Prizes in the 2025 SMMC.

We are thrilled to announce that Zhibo JIN, our undergraduate year-3 MATH-IRE student, has won the Jane Street Best-in-University Prize in the individual session of the 2025 Simon Marais Mathematics Competition. Additionally, Van Hoang NGUYEN, an undergraduate year-1 SSCI student and Dinh Toan KHUC, an undergraduate year-2 MATH-PMA student have won the Jane Street Best-in-University Prize in the pair session.

The Simon Marais Mathematics Competition attracts talented mathematicians from around the world, recognizing exceptional problem-solving skills and creativity. Long's remarkable achievements not only highlight his passion for mathematics but also bring honor to our department.
