Job Title: Full-time Instructional Assistant (two openings)
(Duration: 1 year, renewable)

Duties
The appointee will assist in preparing for and conducting undergraduate mathematics tutorials in English, invigilating tests and examinations, grading homework assignments and examination papers; helping students solve mathematics problems at the Math Support Cente; offering help in UG recruitment activities; and other academic-related duties as assigned by the Department Head.

Qualifications
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics or related disciplines, and preferably with some teaching experience skills; good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of computational and statistical tools will be an advantage.
A one-year contract will be offered and is renewable subject to performance review and mutual agreement. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
